Build a culture

A subtle, but extremely important aspect of leadership is culture building. This will happen implicitly on its own as the organization will tend to reflect the characteristics of the leadership.

But you should think carefully about intentionally building culture in your organization.

Act in ways you want to be emulated. Discourage ways of acting that you do not wish to be reflected in your organization’s culture.
